In my experience as a migrant, one of the biggest hurdles to integration is feeling like your voice isn’t heard in decisions that affect your daily life. To improve inclusion at the local level, I suggest establishing community-driven urban planning committees. These committees would include both migrants and locals to work together on creating inclusive spaces that meet everyone’s needs.
